It’s the first course in Portugal with a practical approach to sound design. Sound techniques, system design, editing techniques, mixing, masterisation for film and videogames, music shows and performing arts are some of the taught subjects. The learning path also includes room prediction, isolation and acoustic treatment, resorting to sophisticated softwares.
The learning by doing method gathers the practice in the recording studio and all kinds of events with theory, resulting in the acquisition of technical, artistic and creative competences for musical recording, direct sound, post production, life sound, sound for film, television and home studio.
